Situated in a private reserve in the southern half of the delta, Pom Pom is renowned for its beautiful delta scenery. With contrasting riverine forest fringing the permanent Okavango waterways and open floodplain landscapes dotted with palm trees, this habitat attracts a mix of plains game and predators.

The camp itself comprises of thatch and canvas buildings overlooking a reed fringed lagoon where hippos and elephants can often be seen.

Activities include morning and evening 4WD game drives with your guide which provide an opportunity to view the ‘big game’ and night life that this unique environment can offer. There are also boat trips and that quintessential of all Okavango experiences, the mokoro, where you glide through the papyrus-fringed water channels looking out for wildlife and interesting flora. Bush walks are also available during the dryer months for that ”at one with nature” experience.

Activities may be seasonal and dependent on water levels.
