Each cottage building houses four Deluxe Double or Twin Rooms, all with views of the gardens giving opportunities to see the lake and wildlife.

Rooms are feature separate sleeping and seating areas, and whilst simply furnished still benefit from WiFi, Satellite TV, and minbar, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.The balcony or terrace allows for relaxing after the day’s activities.

The Main Restaurant offers exceptional cuisine featuring Continental, Swahili and Mediterranean influences, expertly blended to create fusion dishes prepared with the freshest local produce. Guests enjoy home baked breads alongside garden fresh fruits and vegetables, with breakfast and lunch served buffet style for convenience and variety. The dining room extends onto a spacious outdoor patio featuring umbrella shaded tables, ideal for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the tropical setting.

For casual dining throughout the day, the poolside bar provides an à la carte menu and pizzeria service. The main bar, adjacent to the lounge, features dark leather and rich timber panelling, creating an intimate ambience.

The lodge’s outdoor swimming pool features separate areas for adults and children, with a sun terrace and informal bar area.

The sweeping gardens stretch from the lodge down to the water’s edge. The gardens are mostly a natural mix of Euphorbia cacti and Acacia bushes. Wildlife is free to roam throughout the property and zebra can often be seen drinking from the ornamental fountains.

If you are not content with watching the wildlife from your room the lodge offers a variety of options to get you even closer to the animals. You can choose from a guided nature walk or a boat tour on Lake Naivasha with a local naturalist who can explain further about the Lake Naivasha ecosystem.

Day trips are also available to nearby Crescent Island (home to resident wildlife) and to some of the flower farms and vineyards in the local area.

You could choose to end your day at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge by enjoying an al-fresco dinner around a bonfire, whilst watching hippos making their way out of the water.
