The river setting is a picturesque combination of sand banks, dramatic rocks and riverine forest – an idyllic setting for a late breakfast! Located in a prominent migration corridor, guests may be fortunate to observe wildebeest and zebra crossing the Sand River from the comfort of their veranda.

Each day game drives go out in search of the world-famous wildlife with its concentrations of big cat and in season, the dramatic arrival of the annual migration. Sand River comprises of 16 luxury tents divided into two separate areas, each with their own designated dining and public areas to create a sense of exclusivity and privacy.
