This unique lodge has developed a dedicated programme in place to ensure you get the most out of your stay.
On your way to the lodge you’ll be served lunch at The Ark’s sister property, the Aberdare Country Club, before continuing your journey. Keep your eyes peeled for buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, baboons and hyenas along the way.
You’ll arrive at The Ark around 4pm, where you can enjoy afternoon tea, before heading to the bridge for bird feeding. Your host will close the doors at 6:30pm, and you can join an interactive nature talk before dinner.
The rest of the evening is free to enjoy as you wish, but if you’d like to go to bed, you don’t need to miss out! You can opt to be buzzed when wildlife come to the waterhole: one right for elephant, two rings for rhino, three rings for leopard and four rings for unusual sightings, like giant forest hog.
At 6:30am a xylophone is played as a wake up call before 7am breakfast.
