Day 2 – Amboseli National Park
Today there will be morning and afternoon game drives giving plenty of opportunity to seek out the great variety of wildlife in the park. Amboseli is one of Kenya’s National Park icons and is famous for its spectacular views of the often snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro just over the border in Tanzania.
Whilst compact in size, Amboseli National Park contains a variety of ecosystems including swamps, acacia forests and grassy plains. An abundance of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle can be seen along with predators such as lion and sometimes cheetah, but the ‘star of the show’ are the large herds of elephant, many with impressive tusks that wander the park.

Amboseli is home to a wide variety of Kenya’s wildlife including, lions, buffalo, cheetah as well as plains game and many species of bird. The park is perhaps most famous for its large elephant herds with sighting almost guaranteed.
The lodge sits within tranquil and lush gardens containing a swimming pool with sundeck and there is a restaurant and bar which are all ideal for passing your time between safari adventures.
