Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi

You will be met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel for an afternoon to unwind or explore the capital.

Day 2 - Masai Mara Reserve

The bustling city gives way to small Maasai villages as you journey west to the famous Masai Mara National Park for a two day game experience. The abundance of wildlife is just incredible, with lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe and much, much more. In summer thousands of wildebeest add to the numbers during the annual migration.

Mara Sopa Lodge: Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Sopa Lodge offers magnificent views across the eastern reaches of the Masai Mara. The lodge is set in expansive and mature wooded gardens and follows the design of traditional African round houses. Facilities include a lounge-bar with an inviting fire place and a swimming pool taking in the magnificent views.

Day 4 - Lake Naivasha

Return towards Nairobi for a night by the shores of beautiful Lake Naivasha and a chance to see the astonishing birdlife and the hippos that live here.

Naivasha Sopa Lodge: Set in 150 acres of grassland studded with Acacia trees and home to resident giraffe, waterbuck and Vervet monkeys. Each of the characterful stone and thatch cottages contains four rooms spread over two floors, all overlooking the serene gardens.

Day 5 - Amboseli National Park

Enjoy breakfast followed by a boat trip on the lake, before driving to Nairobi in time for lunch at the  renowned Carnivore restaurant. Then head to the delightful Amboseli National Park arriving this evening. The low growing vegetation here makes for perfect game viewing against the magnificent backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Your two night stay at the lodge includes morning and afternoon game drives.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge: A traditional style lodge sitting beneath the towering Mt Kilimanjaro, 20 minutes from the gate of Amboseli National Park. The 83 cottage style rooms are spread amongst beautiful gardens which are home to numerous species of birds as well as monkeys, mongooses, duikers and gazelle.

Day 7 - Tsavo West National Park

Leave Amboseli for Tsavo West via the spectacular Shetani lava flows in the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. After lunch take a game drive in in Tsavo West which includes a visit to Mzima Springs where you may be able to see hippo ‘moon walking’ on the river bed from the underwater viewing observatory. Afterwards, continue to your lodge for the night.

Ngutuni Lodge: Set against the backdrop of the Sagala Hills, the lodge offers comfortable and rustic accommodation. There is a spacious deck overlooking a waterhole which is popular with a variety of wildlife that come to drink.
