Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Nairobi

You will be met at Nairobi airport and transferred to your hotel for a day in the city or by the pool.

Sarova Panafric Hotel: A welcoming hotel located on the edge of the city centre and set in attractive gardens with a swimming pool, ideal for some pre-safari relaxation.

Meals: None

Day 2 - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast drive to the impressive Amboseli National Park in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Morning and afternoon game drives will offer the chance to see the park’s famous elephant herds, whilst the shaded gardens of the resort offer a great place to relax during free time.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge: A traditional style lodge sitting beneath the towering Mt Kilimanjaro, 20 minutes from the gate of Amboseli National Park. The 83 cottage style rooms are spread amongst beautiful gardens which are home to numerous species of birds as well as monkeys, mongooses, duikers and gazelle.

*Amboseli Sopa Lodge will be replaced by Serena Lodge until July 2022.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 4 - Lake Nakuru and Naivasha

After breakfast travel into the Rift Valley as you head towards the beautiful Lake Elementaita for a two night stay. You will stop en route at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi and arrive at the lodge in time to enjoy the beautiful lake side grounds.

The next day head for Lake Nakuru National Park to seek out the amazing rhino, leopard and maybe some flamingos. Lunch will be taken at a lodge which enjoys views overlooking the lake with a further short game drive, before heading back to your hotel.

Naivasha Sopa Lodge: Set in 150 acres of grassland studded with Acacia trees and home to resident giraffe, waterbuck and Vervet monkeys. Each of the characterful stone and thatch cottages contains four rooms spread over two floors, all overlooking the serene gardens.

*Naivasha Sopa Lodge will be replaced by Simba Naivasha Lodge until July 2022.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 6 - Masai Mara National Reserve

Today drive to the famous Masai Mara for two great days of game spotting. So many of Africa’s iconic animal species are here from elegant antelope to the fearsome black rhino, as well as some 500 species of birdlife, but there should still be time to enjoy the excellent facilities of your lodge.

Mara Sopa Lodge: Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Sopa Lodge offers magnificent views across the eastern reaches of the Masai Mara. The lodge is set in expansive and mature wooded gardens and follows the design of traditional African round houses. Facilities include a lounge-bar with an inviting fire place and a swimming pool taking in the magnificent views.

*Mara Sopa Lodge will be replaced by Mara Simba Lodge until July 2022.
