Day 2 – Aberdare National Park
Leave behind the bustle of the city and head for Nyeri in the tree covered mountains of Aberdare National Park. A stop will be made en route for lunch before arriving at your lodge.
The remainder of the day can be spent observing wildlife such as elephant and buffalo from the viewing deck as they emerge from the forest to drink at the waterhole.
The Ark: An iconic property in the heart of the Aberdare National Park. The Ark has four viewing areas and a ground level hideout overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, popular with elephant and other wildlife. On request, the night guard will buzz your room when lesser spotted species visit the waterhole after dark.

Day 3 – Lake Nakuru National Park
Descend into the Great Rift Valley today for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Look out especially for rhino, hippo, leopard, baboons and flamingos around the water’s edge. Continue to Lake Naivasha for the evening, the highest lake in the Great Rift Valley at 1,884 metres above sea level.
Simba Lodge: (Mon departure) is set in beautiful manicured gardens that run down to Lake Naivasha with views of the impressive Mt. Longonot in the distance. Resident game roam the grounds including zebra, giraffe and hippos.
Lake Naivasha Country Club: (Wed departure) is a historic lodge that was once the staging post for Imperial Airways that flew from Dublin to Durban. The 12 acres of lawns are shaded by mature acacia and fever trees and include a swimming pool to relax by whilst on safari.

Day 4 to 5 – Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari heads south today for two unforgettable days in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Keekorok Lodge is located in the heart of the reserve surrounded by natural springs and lush plains, a superb base for your morning and afternoon game drives.
Mara Simba Lodge: (Mon departure) is situated amongst indigenous forest on the banks of the Teluk River that marks the boundary of the Masai Mara Reserve.
Keekorok Lodge: (Wed departure) has a prime location within the park close to migration routes coming up from the Serengeti. There are attractive gardens containing a swimming pool and a boardwalk leading to a hippo pool lookout.

Day 6 – Nairobi and farewell
As you return to Nairobi you will pass Maasai villages and the local cattle and goat herders dressed in their traditional red.
