Today travel through the striking vistas of the Namib Desert, the oldest in the world. Your lodge for the next two nights is located in the Sesriem region, the gateway to the famous dunes of Sossusvlei.  During this time you may like to visit Duwisib Castle, built in 1907 and reminiscent of German castles.

The next day, visit the famous dunes where you can walk up the ridge for wonderful views and photographs. The best time to visit them is at sunrise when the light paints the dunes shades of red, apricot and purple. Then head to Dead Vlei, a surreal white clay pan surrounded by the monumental dunes and studded with age old Camelthorn trees, before finishing at Sesriem Canyon.
