Holidays to the Seychelles 2025 & 2026
A real-life Garden of Eden, this idyllic collection of Indian Ocean islands are truly paradise on Earth. Giant boulders frame powder-white beaches and beneath the waves, vibrant reefs teem with life. On land endearing giant tortoises roam and unique exotic flora will intrigue.
One of the world’s most romantic destinations, the Seychelles are located just south of the equator and enjoy a year-round tropical climate. Each island has its own character and attractions so be sure to explore, or even stay on, more than one. Wherever you go, you’ll receive a warm Creole welcome.
Throughout the country, an enchanting and unique natural world awaits. Prise yourself away from the beaches and there are jungle trails to explore, rare bird species found only here to see and endearing giant tortoises that roam naturally. Divers and snorkellers of all levels will be drawn to teeming reefs below the turquoise waters.
Main Island of Mahe
The main island of Mahe is characterised by soaring jungle clad peaks, picturesque villages and over 65 beaches. Beau Vallon Bay is the main resort but retains a relaxed low key atmosphere, whilst Victoria is the sleepy capital city with a colourful market and the iconic clocktower. For something more up tempo, nearby Eden Island has a casino and a range of nightlife.
Praslin Paradise
Praslin is the country’s second largest island and reached by a short flight or Catamaran trip. Home to the Valle De Mai UNESCO World Heritage site, here the famous Coco de Mer grows wild and resembles a double lobed coconut. Apart from unique flora, there are paradise beaches such as Anse Lazio as well as the country’s only 18 hole golf course.
Laid Back La Digue
Laid back La Digue is celebrated for its granite boulder-adorned beaches such as Anse Source d’Argent, regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world. With no cars, traditional modes of transport such as bicycle and ox cart still hold sway along the islands leafy lanes, whilst the island also acts as a stepping stone to some of the smaller islands.
