How to get to Praslin Island?
International visitors will usually arrive into the Seychelles via the International Airport on Mahé Island. There are two choice for visitors to reach Praslin Island from Mahé.
- Air Seychelles offer regular flight between Mahé and Praslin, with several departures a day. The flight takes approximately twenty minutes and provides spectacular island views along the way.
- The catamaran fast ferry, operated by Cat Cocos, is a popular and convenient way to travel from Victoria Jetty, Mahé Island, to Baie Sainte Anne Jetty, Praslin Island. There are three or four crossings everyday and the crossings takes around one hour and fifteen minutes. With air-conditioned cabins and outside decks it is a relaxing way to travel between the islands.

Although smaller than neighbouring Mahé Island, there is still plenty of choice for hotels and resorts on Praslin Island.
