You have two full days to enjoy Cape Town! If you can rise early after the cricket, why not begin your day by riding the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain, 1067 metres above the city? On a clear day, you will be able to take in the views of Cape Town, Table Bay and the Atlantic coast.
In the afternoon, you could head to Camps Bay, Cape Town’s premier summer destination. The white sand beach has a tidal pool for safe swimming, and is lined with trendy restaurants, cocktail bars, and beach cafés.
The next day, you could catch the ferry to Robben Island. Give yourself around 3 or 4 hours for the crossing and guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. Many of the tours are accompanied by former political prisoners who can share their personal stories of resilience.
Returning to Cape Town, you could spend the afternoon exploring Bo-Kaap, the historic and colourful Cape Malay Quarter, and the Castle of Good Hope, before returning to the V&A Waterfront.
If you would like to pre-book a tour of Robben Island before your travel, just ask.

You have two full days to appreciate the wildlife and wonderful wilderness of the Kapama Game Reserve.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of spotting your first leopard in the wild, or seeing a tower of giraffes glide through the bush, as if in slow motion.
As well as Africa’s iconic mammals, the reserve is a sanctuary for over 350 bird species, from the vibrant lilac-breasted roller to the majestic martial eagle. You’ll probably hear nightjars as you drift off to sleep in the evening.
Between game drives and bushwalks, you can relax by the swimming pool, or in the spacious indoor-outdoor lounge area, cool drink in hand.
