1st ODI – South Africa v England

10th January 2027,  Boland Park, Paarl

With the Cricket World Cup returning to South Africa later in 2027, both South Africa and England will be wanting to make the most of these matches. The ODI series begins in Paarl, in one of South Africa’s most famous wine-producing regions, about a 90-minute drive from Cape Town.

Boland Park has been hosting international cricket since 1997, including some matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. With a capacity of 10,000 spectators, you can expect an intense and enthralling atmosphere.

2nd ODI – South Africa v England

13th January 2027, Manguang Oval, Bloemfontein

The One Day International series moves to the Free State Province, in central South Africa, for the 2nd match of the 50 over series. Bloemfontein, known as the ‘City of Roses’, has a unique character, combining the facilities of a large African city with the feel of a smaller country town.

The Manguang Oval is just a 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Bloemfontein, and has a capacity of around 20,000. The ground regularly hosts floodlit games and is known for its carnival atmosphere.

3rd ODI – South Africa v England

15th January 2027, Manguang Oval, Bloemfontein

We stay in Bloemfontein for the third, and final, One Day International of the series, and England’s final game of the tour. With the city being on a high plateau, around 1,400 metres above sea level, expect to see some big hitting and the ball flying further into the stands on a regular basis.

Return to the Manguang Oval, for more fun, with a mixture of music and the smell of barbecue adding to the excitement of the cricket on the field. With places at the forthcoming Cricket World Cup at stake, expect both teams to be competing hard and trying to steal the early initiative.

ODI match tickets and hotel prices available on request.
