The charming town of Hazyview is around four hours drive from Johannesburg and provides a convenient base for exploring the region. Kruger National Park with its excellent game viewing is just ten minutes away, whilst the scenic delights of Blyde River Canyon can be reached in less than 2 hours.

Hippo Hollow has a beautiful setting on the outskirts of town with lush gardens overlooking the Sabie River, where hippos sometimes gather. The popular Elephant Whispers Centre is a few minutes away, where you can get up close and interact with these gentle giants.
