Some 200kms from Cape Town is the charming Little Karoo town of Montagu, starting point of the famous Route 62. The town sits in the shadow of the Langeberg Mountains and boasts some fine historic buildings and a small museum illustrating the life of the early settlers to the region.

Montagu Vines is an owner run guesthouse located ten minute’s walk from town. Spend time relaxing in the beautiful garden with its magnificent old oak tree overlooking the lake. Within the grounds there is also an olive grove whose produce is used in the kitchen.
