Travelling by road, Klaserie is around five to six hours away from Johannesburg. It is easy enough to self drive, as the route is well marked and the roads are in good condition.
Alternatively, to get to Klaserie Nature Reserve by air, the neared airport is Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport, which is about an hour’s transfer from the reserve. There are several airlines that operate daily services from Johannesburg and Cape Town.
