Each of the nine luxury tents at Dwyka Tented Lodge are spacious and airy, their decoration taking inspiration from the stunning landscapes that surrounds them.

The tents are air-conditioned and each have a private deck boasting an outdoor shower and a heated plunge pool, the perfect place to soak in the views of admire the stars. The luxurious en suite bathrooms include a shower and a free standing bath, alongside twin basins.

The rooms are also equipped with either king or twin beds, a mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and WiFi.

Game Drives – At sunrise or sunset, you’ll head out for 3 hour game drives in search of wildlife. Travelling through two different biomes and diverse habitats, you’ll have the opportunity to spot animals including elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, rhinos, giraffes and even rare white lions.

Walking Safaris – On a guided walk, you can truly appreciate Sanbona’s incredible landscapes, and you can expect some truly magical wildlife encounters.

Bird Watching – Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is home to more than 200 bird species, so it is a fantastic place for birdwatching.

Stargazing – Free from light pollution, the Klein Karoo offers some of the most impressive stargazing in Southern Africa. Dwyka Tented Lodge has a high-powered telescope and a dedicated ranger who will use a laser pointer to guide you through the constellations.

Rock Art Tours – Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is home to some incredible rock art, dating back over 3,500 years. Learn about their significance, and about the Khoi Khoi people that inhabited the area until 100 years ago.
