The house is set amongst the lemon and orange groves of the Sundays River Valley, just 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth and eight kilometres from the Park’s entrance.

Elephant House can organise ranger-guided game drives, or alternatively you can use your hire car to go at your own pace. Addo is famed for its elephants but also has lots of other wildlife including lion, buffalo, black rhino and a variety of antelope species. To relax at the end of the day there is a pleasant pool, library, large lounge and shaded terraces overlooking the gardens.
