Nestled amongst a canopy of Jackalberry and Tamboti trees on the banks of a seasonal river, Imbali has the perfect bush setting. The private Mluwati Concession is surrounded by the Kruger National Park with wildlife free to roam through but has the advantage of only three lodges permitted to traverse the land, ensuring a peaceful experience.

Other advantages include off-road game viewing to get closer to the wildlife and walking safaris within the concession. Positioned along a wildlife corridor, guests can relax in the comfort of the lodge and witness frequent sightings of elephant, buffalo, antelope and sometimes even lion, leopard and wild dog.

Imbali Safari Lodge has twelve spacious suites oozing character with their thatched roofs. French doors run the length of the room to let the outside wilderness in, whilst on the outside deck there is a plunge pool to relax in whilst listening to the sounds of the bush.

Meals are always an experience whether it’s the extensive breakfast buffet under an ancient Jackalberry tree, an indulgent afternoon tea with a delicious selection of cakes, or a three-course dinner under the stars to the enchanting sounds of the bush.
