Riverdene Family Lodge offers four Luxury Family Rooms, each with its own private safari vehicle. There is one three-bedroom family suite (sleeping up to nine guests) with one wheelchair-accessible bedroom, and three two-bedroom family suites (sleeping up to six guests). Children aged 2–11 years are accommodated on sleeper couches, making these suites ideal for families travelling together.

Riverdene Family Lodge features a welcoming lounge and dining area, a swimming pool set within landscaped gardens, and a supervised Kids on Safari programme designed to keep younger guests engaged. With dedicated staff, family-friendly spaces and private safari vehicles for each suite, the lodge ensures a comfortable and convenient safari experience for all ages.

A stay at Riverdene Family Lodge includes twice-daily game drives within Shamwari Private Game Reserve, enjoyed in your family’s own private safari vehicle. Led by experienced rangers, these drives offer the chance to spot the Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife, with flexible timings to suit younger guests.
