About Your Safari Lodge
Each day enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in 4wd vehicles that go in search of the impressive variety of wildlife accompanied by your expert safari guide. Look out Madikwe’s tremendously diverse wildlife; a paradise for bird watchers, home to the ‘Big 5’ of lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo as well as cheetah and the rare African wild dog.
In the evenings enjoy a sundowner in the bush as the sun sets on another fabulous day. Between game drives, relax in the open-plan lounge or take a refreshing dip in the lodge pool whilst keeping an eye out for any wildlife that may come to quench their thirst in the river below.
Your stay at Thakadu River Camp includes morning and afternoon game drives, guided birding and star gazing.
