About Your Safari Lodge

In the North East of Kwazulu-Natal, not far from Hluhluwe, lies the 14000ha private game reserve of Thanda Safari. Once marginal grazing land, this beautiful hilly landscape has been turned into a thriving game reserve where the big 5 now roam. Game drives are accompanied by expert trackers who ensure the best animal sightings – perhaps the endangered black rhino or a cheetah to name a few!

Fifteen minutes drive from the Tented Camp, Safari Lodge is ideal for families and couples alike. Built in a circular shape to imitate a traditional Zulu kraal, the lodge blends into the hillside to offer discreet opulence.
