There are daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg and Nelspruit to the Ngala Private Game Reserve airstrip, followed by an easy drive to the lodges within the Reserve. There are also connecting flights with the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve and Phinda Private Game Reserve.

When is the best time to visit Ngala Private Game Reserve?
Ngala has a subtropical climate with hot, humid and wet summers from September to April and warm to cool and dry winters from May to August. Game viewing is excellent year-round.

The large family-friendly &Beyond Ngala Safari Lodge on the Reserve is particularly suitable for families with children who are wanting to experience the wonders of the South African bush.
