What is the experience like on a small group tour?

Most of the small group tours that we offer take a maximum of 10 guests, so you can really get to know your fellow travellers and your guide. Experiences feel intimate and exclusive in a small group.

What is the best time to visit South Africa?

Whilst there isn’t really a bad time to visit South Africa, you will get a slightly different experience throughout the year.

One of the best times for an escorted tour is between June and August. South Africa winter falls in these months, so temperatures are more mild, averaging at 17°C, which is perfect for a more active tour. This is also the best time of year for safaris, so you can get some incredible wildlife sightings.

For whale watching along the south coast, July to November is best, whereas December to May is ideal for driving the Garden Route, and  for the beach, if you’d like to pair a coastal escape with your escorted tour.
