The lodge is designed around the original landowner’s home that dates back to the early 1900s and comprises of 30 Plantation Houses that radiate out into the coffee fields.

Within the main Plantation House, there is a restaurant, an intimate bar and a cosy lounge with an inviting open log fire. In the beautiful gardens, there is a popular terrace where lunch can be enjoyed, whilst the swimming pool is the ideal place to cool off.

The lodge runs a coffee tour showing the process that brings a coffee bean from tree to cup, culminating in a tasting of the farm’s coffee blends. There is also Traders Walk, a collection of boutique shops including Shanga, a social enterprise run by Tanzanians with disabilities who produce beautiful jewellery and glassware from recycled materials

Plantation rooms are located amongst the coffee estate with private deck, log fires, safe and minibar.
