About Your Safari Lodge
Nestled high above the Crater floor on the western rim, Ngorongoro Serena is cloaked in stone and indigenous vines, designed to make it blend into its surroundings. With its position close to the western access road into the Crater, it doesn’t take long before you are on your game drive in what is surely one of the wonders of the natural world.
With its cosy fireplace and walls adorned with stylised cave paintings and flickering torchlight, the dining room offers an elegant yet relaxed space to enjoy meals. The floor-to-ceiling windows and double doors leading out on to a large terrace, complement each meal with magnificent views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Aside from daily game drives, the lodge can arrange a number of special experiences including breakfast or lunch on the crater floor and sunset cocktails at a scenic view point warmed by a roaring fire.
