On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy your surroundings.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast travel to Tarangire, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours. Take a game drive in the National Park where you can see the ancient baobab trees and the resident elephant population.
Your lodge is tucked away in the trees and the grounds are home to over 400 bird species. Take some time to enjoy your surroundings, the lush forest is a complete contrast to the arid plains elsewhere.
Tarangire Sopa Lodge offers 16 classic tents under thatch, located near the Sangaiwe Gate of Tarangire National Park. During the dry season groups of elephant, giraffe and zebra come to a small waterhole located in front of the lodge, whilst guests can also watch wildlife from the elevated viewing platform near the pool.

Day 3 – Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a game drive en route out of the park as you head towards the Ngorongoro in time for lunch. Pass through areas that are home to a whole array of big game and a wild unkempt beauty. In the afternoon continue into the Serengeti watching out for the wide variety of game and predators, before arriving at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Nyabogati Camp is located in the Turner’s Spring area, in the heart of the Serengeti Park. There are eight spacious tents, each with their own private veranda.

Day 4 – Serengeti National Park
Spend the whole day on a game drive in the fabled Serengeti with its wide open spaces and seemingly endless game it not hard to see why it is a favourite with wildlife enthusiasts from around the world. Return to your lodge in the evening to share your big game adventures with your fellow travellers.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning game drive in the Serengeti head towards Ngorongoro Crater a place of diverse scenery and rich in wildlife. On arrival the afternoon is free to enjoy the amazing scenery and lodge facilities.
The Retreat at Ngorongoro is an eco-friendly lodge offering well appointed cottages located on the lower slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater. The drive to the Crater Rim travels through lush rain forest where you may be able to spot monkeys and larger animals like buffalo en route.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater
Spend the day exploring this enormous volcanic crater which is probably one of the most visually stunning places in Africa. It is home to an amazingly rich mix of wildlife including lion, elephant and the very rare black rhino. Take in the diversity of the landscape with grasslands, lakes, forests and swamps. It’s not hard to see why this is considered to be one of the wonders of the natural world.

Day 7 – Arusha & Farewell
Make an early start for Arusha where time permitting you can have lunch before catching your onward flight home or perhaps spend a few days relaxing on a tropical beach.
