On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge where the rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy your surroundings. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool to enjoy or head into town which is about a 10 minute walk away.

After breakfast travel to beautiful Tarangire National Park. Stop off for lunch before a thrilling afternoon game drive in the Park in search of elephant, rhino, zebra, wildebeest and more. Be sure to photograph the strange Baobab Trees, before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Sopa Tarangire: A collection of offers 16 classic tents under thatch, located near the Sangaiwe Gate of Tarangire National Park. During the dry season groups of elephant, giraffe and zebra come to a small waterhole located in front of the lodge, whilst guests can also watch wildlife from the elevated viewing platform near the pool.

After a morning game drive in Tarangire, head for Lake Manyara with many great views along the way. Enter the park for an afternoon game drive, stopping midway for a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara National Park lies beneath a spectacular 600 meter high escarpment and is home to hippo, flamingo, baboon and the elusive tree climbing lion. Afterwards, continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you may be in time to watch the spectacular sunset before dinner.

This morning drive down into the Crater with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. With one of the highest densities of lion in Africa, you have an excellent chance of seeing the ‘king of cats’ along with black rhino, hippo, zebra and lots more. This is all set against the back drop of the stunning scenery that makes this one of the seven natural wonders of the world, as well as one of the best game viewing areas in Africa.

Your safari ends this morning back in Arusha, from where you will fly direct to Zanzibar, Tanzania’s Indian Ocean outpost.

You’ll be met at the airport for the scenic drive to the Karafuu Beach Resort & Spa which sits on a beautiful silver sand beach.

And here you can relax… spending your days slipping between the swimming pool and warm waters of the Indian Ocean, or enjoying a cocktail under the shade of a swaying palm overlooking the turquoise sea. Your stay here is all-inclusive; breakfast, lunch, dinner and great range of soft and alcoholic drinks.

Do make sure to leave a little time to explore the island however. In Menai Bay you can spot bottlenose dolphins, and in Jozani Forest, see inquisitive red colobus monkeys. Stone Town, the island’s capital, is famed for it Swahili, Arab, Indian and European heritage, evident its architecture and fabulous cuisine.
