Nearby the lodge is Fumba Village where guests are welcome to take a stroll through by themselves or accompanied by a member of staff. The surrounding sea is part of the Menai Bay Conservation area, a marine haven for dolphin and a whole host of other life that thrive in the coral reefs. These can be explored by snorkelling, diving and kayaking which can be arranged through the onsite watersports centre.
The open-air restaurant serves up tasty cuisine using locally sourced herbs, tropical fruits, the Fishermans catch of the day and of course exotic spices that Zanzibar is synonymous with. There is a bar created from a traditional dhow boat where happy hours can be enjoyed and a swimming pool with ocean views.
