About your safari lodge
One of the first lodges to have operated in Hwange, over the years Ivory Lodge has been kept up to date whilst still maintaining its rustic charm.
The simple but charming rooms are set into the tree line of a teak forest and built in a ‘tree-house’ style with balconies overlooking a waterhole. The main thatched building has a bar that looks out onto manicured green lawns and a fire pit, a favourite gathering place after dinner. Aside from the twice-daily game drives, guests can visit the nearby Painted Dog Research Centre (small fee) or visit a local school for some cultural interest.
