The waterhole in front of the lodge is the only source of permanent water for some distance and is a frequent stop for elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and sometimes even lion and wild dog.

The main area of the camp is housed in a majestic “A” frame where the dining room and comfortable upstairs viewing area can be found, whilst outside there is a plunge pool to cool off on those hot afternoons. Activities are flexible with guests being able to choose from day and night game drives, bush walks or simply just to sit in one of the underground hides overlooking the waterhole. For a unique experience, a sleep out under the stars in the romantic “Doves Nest” tree house can be arranged.

Your stay at The Hide Lodges includes two game drives daily, guided bush walks and hide and birding experiences.

Luxury tented suites each have a private veranda overlooking the waterhole with en-suite indoor and outdoor bathroom facilities.
