Beginning your cruise under the shadows of New York City’s skyscrapers, the Statue of Liberty waves you on your way, as the hustle and bustle of the city quickly dissipates to the calm waters of the Hudson River.

Day 2 – Sleepy Hollow & Tarrytown
Along the mysterious Tappan Zee stretch of the Hudson River, is truly a village lifted from the pages of folklore. Here, the legend of Washington Irving’s Headless Horseman isn’t just a story, it’s a part of the town. Wander past the Old Dutch Church and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, where Irving himself lies, and you might just feel a supernatural chill. Don’t just stick to the spooky stuff; the village’s delightful riverfront parks and charming downtown boutiques offer lighter diversions.

Day 3 – West Point Military Academy
Positioned dramatically on the high bluffs overlooking the Hudson River, West Point is not only a site of breathtaking natural beauty but also a location brimming with military history.
Founded in 1802, the United States Military Academy at West Point is the oldest continuously occupied military post in America, having trained some of the nation’s most distinguished leaders.
The Academy’s Gothic Revival architecture dominates the landscape, with the iconic Cadet Chapel and the imposing statues of Thayer and Eisenhower surveying the grounds.

Day 4 – Kingston & Hyde Park

Kingston’s Historic Stockade District transports visitors back in time with well-preserved 17th Century stone houses and the Senate House, where New York’s first constitution was drafted.
Just a short distance from Kingston, Hyde Park welcomes history enthusiasts with the majestic estate of Franklin D. Roosevelt, America’s longest-serving president. This sprawling property, along with the neighbouring Vanderbilt Mansion, showcases the extravagance of the Gilded Age.

Day 5 – Catskill

Venture to the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, where the home and studio of this Hudson River School founder offer insights into the birth of American landscape painting.

The city’s skyline is crowned by the striking Empire State Plaza, a modernist construction, which houses an impressive collection of modern art and the iconic Egg, a venue that hosts music and entertainment performances all year round.
Optional Excursion: Enjoy a narrated exploration of the city, with the highlight being a stop at the New York State Capitol Building.
