Day 1 - Welcome to New Orleans
Your Mississippi Cruise comes complete with a Complimentary Pre-Cruise Package, providing you with a seamless way to board the ship and explore the local area. Arrive in New Orleans the day before your scheduled cruise date and we’ll handle the rest. The package includes a premium hotel stay, where you can enjoy the city at your leisure.
Day 2 - New Orleans
This vibrant city aka the Big Easy is the perfect destination to begin your Mississippi River voyage. On the morning of the cruise, meet in the hotel lobby after breakfast and you’ll be transported to the ship to begin the cruise. All luggage will be brought directly from the hotel and placed in your stateroom aboard the ship. Once on board, enjoy a special welcoming reception with a chance to meet fellow guests as we set sail for an incredible journey.

Day 3 - Oak Alley Plantation
First stop; Once serving as an antebellum sugar cane homestead, Oak Alley Plantation is named after its most distinguishing feature, a row of 300 year old oak trees. This leafy canopy forms a quarter-mile path leading to the Mississippi River. Restored to its 19th century grandeur, this classic Greek revival-style antebellum mansion is breathtaking.

Day 4 - Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge features all the history and wonder you would expect in a state capital, but with an added rural home flavour that makes it truly unique. Our private guides will take you on a tour of the city’s most famous attractions including the old and new State Capitals and the interactive Louisiana State Museum.

Day 5 - Houmas House
Explore Houmas House and its history as you stroll around its 38 acres of gardens, ponds and majestic live oak alley during this port stop. Make sure to explore the Southern splendour of ‘The Sugar Palace’ through 16 rooms filled with period antiques and Louisiana artwork.

Day 6 - Farewell from New Orleans
Welcome back to New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz. Culture and arts abound around every corner of this unique city. The open air artist colony proudly displays local works on the iron fence in Jackson Square, while the city’s 45 museums carefully preserve its rich history. Stay an extra day or even a few nights to enjoy the famed French Quarter
