Join South Coast Tours for a paddling adventure along Oregon’s southern coast. Departing from the working fishing port of Port Orford, this 2 hour kayak tour covers about 4.5 miles of spectacular coastline protected by Oregon State Parks.
Guided by experienced naturalists, you’ll paddle into hidden coves, weave through kelp beds, and glide beneath Aquarium Arch – one of the coast’s most unique natural features. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of Humbug Mountain to the south and the Redfish Rocks Marine Research Reserve offshore.
This area teems with wildlife. Watch harbour seals resting on rocky outcrops, look for grey whales during their spring and fall migrations, and observe seabird colonies including cormorants, black oystercatchers, common murres, and pigeon guillemots. Every season brings new sights and surprises.
