Most of the rooms are situated between the main lodge and the canyon amphitheatre rim in a fragrant stand of old-growth Ponderosa Pines. They range from two storey, modern lodge-style rooms to rustic cabins.

When hunger strikes after an energetic day exploring the canyon, you can dine in the on-site rustic restaurant with a grand stone fireplace or head to the pizzeria for artisan pizzas and Italian favourites, salads, home-baked pastries, coffee or a refreshing cold beer. In the evening, it’s worth joining the interpretative park ranger programmes held in The Lodge’s beautiful cathedral-style auditorium.

Rooms have coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave and fridge. In keeping with the park’s desire to maintain its uniquely tranquil setting, the rooms don’t have televisions, WiFi or air conditioning – fans are provided and the main lodge has free WiFi.
