About Your Hotel
Goulding’s Lodge, named after Harry Goulding who came to Monument Valley with his wife in the 1920s, is not just a famous location for Old Western movies; it’s also steeped in a rich history of trading, tourism and culture. So it’s no surprise that the Lodge boasts its own Trading Post Museum, a showcase of artefacts and a glimpse into a bygone era – entry is free to guests of the Lodge.
The rooms are spacious with a neutral décor accented with Navajo Tribal accents and fabrics – many have private balconies offering truly breathtaking views across the Valley to Eagle Mesa, Brigham’s Tomb, King On His Throne and Stagecoach, to name just a few.
As the sun goes down on another perfect day, take a dip in the indoor heated pool before heading for dinner at the Stagecoach Dining Room or taking in a Monument Valley themed movie at the on-site theatre.
