Trail Rides – Enjoy a morning and an afternoon trail ride each day (apart from Sundays), exploring the ranch’s stunning surroundings, led by a cowboy guide.

Corral Rides (Under 6s) – For little ones, the expert wranglers will lead them on a ride around the corral.

Hayrides – You will be transported all over the ranch by hayride, or you can ride out under the beautiful Texas stars.

Animal Encounters – The co-inhabitants of the ranch include deer, armadillos, lizards, cats, raccoons, frogs and more, that you can spot around the property. You can also go and visit the resident longhorn, the goats, the donkey, or spot the peacocks roaming about.

Sports & Lawn Games – Enjoy the sports courts, or play some lawn games like shuffleboard, giant checkers or cornhole.

Stargazing – Go and learn about the incredible Texas stars with an astronomer.

Hiking – Explore the ranch’s surrounding on a network of beautiful trails.

Swimming – Cool off with a refreshing dip in the Medina River that runs through the ranch.

Fishing – Try your hand at fishing in the Medina River.

The ranch’s historic cabins are cosy and comfortable. Each cabin has a different layout, to cater to different party sizes and families. Each cabin is well equipped with a sitting area, and a spacious, modern bathroom.

Mayan Ranch is full board, with three meals served daily. The menu is hearty and delicious. Breakfast is served in the ‘Cowboy Breakfast Area’ where you can enjoy your meal cooked on the campfire. Dinner is typically a Texan-style feast of barbecued meat, and delicious sides and salads.

Please note: There is no lunch served on Sundays, but there will be a brunch available.

Mayan Office – This is the main hub of the ranch, where you’ll find the dining room, the saloon, and the bar which hosts live music and evening entertainment, and a gift shop to pick up a memento of your holiday. There is also a laundry room.

Swimming Pool – Take a refreshing dip after a day in the saddle.

Tennis Court, Basketball Court & Ping Pong – Enjoy the sports courts with the whole family.
