Introductory Lessons – Learn about horse instincts and practise starting, stopping and steering before you hit the trails.

Trail Rides – Sundance Trail Ranch runs trail rides to suit all equestrian abilities, and in every season. Enjoy a personalised experience, with a maximum of seven riders per session, or the option for a custom excursion. There is a morning and evening departure each day, at 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Private Lessons – Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, take a private lesson with an expert wrangler to hone your skills.

Hiking – There are several scenic trails on the property, or you can take a trip to nearby trail heads.

Fishing – Keen anglers can head to nearby lakes for trout and fly fishing.

Rafting – Get out on the river, either opting for a float trip to a thrilling white water expedition.

Rock Climbing – Offering an introduction to rock climbing, learn knots and belay techniques, before giving it a go for yourself.

Shooting & Archery – Learn shooting technique, and then have a go at hitting flying clay targets.

Square Dancing – Start with the basics, and learn more advanced moves as the night progresses.

Disc Golf – Take frisbee to the next level with the scenic course.

Each unique cabin features a private bathroom and a comfortable bedroom. There are a choice of cabins, with different layouts to suit any group, sleeping up to nine people. Some cabins have a deck, a fireplace and a seating area.

Sundance Trail Ranch is full board and meals are served family style. The menu changes, but there is a selection of hearty, home-cooked dishes each day. Enjoy a local beer, wine or spirit alongside your meal, available to purchase from the store on site, or bring your own beverages.

Dietary restrictions can be catered for, but make sure to let the ranch know in advance.

Main Lodge – Here, you’ll find the dining room, as well as several seating areas, where you can enjoy a card game by the fire, or a cup of coffee with mountain views.

Games Room – With foosball, horseshoes, a pool table, books, exercise equipment and WiFi, it’s the perfect place to spend an evening. There is also laundry and a boot barn where you can loan some boots.

Hot Tub – Soak in the jacuzzi under the stars.

Massage Suite – Treat yourself to a massage after a day in the saddle.

Campfire – Share stories with your fellow guests around the campfire, a hot drink or a beer in hand.
