Cattle Sorting – See if you have what it takes to be a true cowboy, and give cattle sorting a go (ages 12 and up).

Overnight Pack Trip – Take a scenic ride along the trails, up to your camp in the mountains (ages 12 and up).

Ranch Chores – This is optional, of course, but you can get a sense for authentic ranch life by getting involved with the daily tasks, like animal feeding, cleaning and maintenance.

Hiking – Explore more of the stunning trails that surround the ranch on a hiking adventure.

Fishing – Keen anglers and beginners alike can enjoy bass fishing.

Western Dancing – Learn how to two step like the best, at Western dancing nights.

Archery & Shooting – Try some target practise in the ranch’s range.

Rock Climbing – Learn how to climb a real rock face.

Each cabin or guest house is decorated simply but thoughtfully. As well as comfortable queen bedrooms, the cabins have a cosy living area with a fireplace, a well-equipped bathroom and an outside porch or deck.

The cabins sleep two people, with the guest houses sleeping up to ten, with additional bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen.

Sylvan Dale Ranch offers all-inclusive dining. They serve hearty-ranch style meals, buffet style. For example, try ‘home-raised’ beef, paired with a medley of vegetables.

Swimming Pool – Take a refreshing dip after a day on horseback.

Games Room – Enjoy a game of ping-pong, billiards, foosball or a boardgame.

Sports Courts – Play tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball and shuffleboard.
