Welcome to Los Angeles! Check in to your hotel and begin to explore the city. Perhaps you want to journey down to the farmer’s market or go shopping along Rodeo Drive. The day is yours to enjoy the ‘City of Angels’.

Day 2 – Los Angeles
Today you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city as well as the homes of the stars. Your fully guided tour will lead you all around the city to visit the Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Sign, and the Walk of Fame. Then your tour will take you outside of the city to visit the homes of the stars! You will get a true Hollywood experience today.

Day 3 to 4 – Los Angeles to San Antonio
Make your way to L.A.’s Union Station to board the Sunset Limited train for your journey east to Texas. Enjoy expansive views of the scenic deserts and western vistas from the window of the train as you cross the border from California into the ‘Lone Star State’.

Day 5 to 6 – San Antonio
Arrive into San Antonio in the morning and make your way to your hotel, where you’ll be staying for two nights.
After checking in, head out to explore the city using your 48 hour San Antonio Hop-on Hop-off Bus pass. There are 19 stops around the city where you can hop off, including the Alamo, Market Square, Buckhorn Saloon & Texas Ranger Museum and Yaganagua Garden. Also included is admission to the Tower of the America’s and a boat cruise along the famous San Antonio River Walk.

Day 7 – San Antonio to New Orleans
This morning, make your way to the San Antonia Railway Station to board your train to New Orleans. Enjoy the beautiful Texas scenery during your full day rail journey, arriving into the ‘Big Easy’; in the evening.

Day 8 – New Orleans
Today, absorb the sights and sounds of New Orleans on an expert led guided tour, that will take you to the French Quarter, the cemeteries known as the ‘Cities of the Dead’ and the beautiful Garden District.

Day 9 – New Orleans
This morning you will enjoy a brunch at a historic restaurant in the French Quarter. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Head back to the French Quarter to re-admire the architecture or enjoy a lazy morning sipping coffee and trying to resist the pastries! Or enjoy a stroll through the Couturie Forest in City Park, with its quintessential Louisiana feel and wonderful variety of birdlife. The New Orleans Museum of Art and National WWII Museum are also both well worth a visit, before finding a jazz bar for an evening of live music.

Day 10 – New Orleans to Atlanta
Make your way to the railway station for your train journey from New Orleans to Atlanta, arriving in the evening.

Day 11 – Atlanta
Explore the capital of Georgia and one of the largest cities in the South Eastern United States. Use your CityPASS to visit some of the main attractions including the Aquarium, the Coca-Cola Centre and the CNN Building.

Day 12 – Atlanta to Washington D.C.
Spend your day continuing to use your CityPASS and enjoy everything Atlanta has to offer. This evening, make your way to Atlanta’s Peachtree Railway Station to board your overnight train to Washington D.C.

Welcome to Capital City! This morning is free for you to enjoy Washington D.C. on your own. Feel free to walk along the National Mall or stop by any of the many Smithsonian Museums. This evening you will enjoy a Monuments by Moonlight tour. Your sightseeing tour will take you to the many patriotic memorials all around the city as they are lit up in all of their glory.

Today, explore the city using your Washington D.C. Hop-on Hop-off Sightseeing Tour, with informative commentary between stops including the National Cathedral, U.S. Capitol and Supreme Court Building.
