Immersed in the Balinese countryside just a five minute drive by complimentary shuttle to Ubud Town, Wapa di Ume offers a variety of spacious rooms and villas suiting adults and older families.

The resort is divided into two sections by a lush ravine complete with babbling stream at its base, with the two sides linked by a foot bridge. The name “di Ume” translates as “in the rice field” and this perfectly describes the setting as guests can enjoy scenic views without leaving the hotel via the paved walkway that runs through the rice paddy. For a more in-depth experience, there is a complimentary guided trek on selected days where a staff member will explain how the rice is grown and harvested.

In between sightseeing, you may like a swim in one of the two pools with Wapa main pool immersed in a jungly setting and complete with a waterfall, whilst the Infinity pool has a more elevated position just across the ravine. The adjoining Wapa Lounge is where guests can enjoy complimentary afternoon tea with a selection of savoury cakes and Balinese coffee or tea. There is of course a spa offering a range of treatments and a Yoga studio to replenish mind and soul.

Breakfast is served each day at Mr Wayan Restaurant, whose outdoor terrace and elevated views over the countryside provide the perfect start to each day.

Lanai Rooms are located on the ground floor and have a balcony, some with partial rice paddy view. There is air conditioning, minibar and a luxury bathroom with sunken bathtub and separate shower. One Bedroom Pool Villas have an enclosed patio area with sala and plunge pool.
