Myanmar (Burma) Travel Guide

Only recently opened to the outside world, this mysterious country has retained a traditional way of life where horse and cart are still a popular mode of transport! Myanmar has a pristine coastline and is beautifully rugged, with steep mountains running along its borders, whilst rivers, valleys and extensive plains dominate the central part of the country.

Highlights on a visit here include the markets and pagodas of Yangon, the 2000 ancient Temples of Bagan and the Royal Palace of romantic Mandalay.
