On arrival into Phnom Penh, transfer to your hotel for the rest of the day to relax or explore.



Day 2 – Phnom Penh
After breakfast visit the profoundly moving Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, before driving to Cheung Ek “the killing fields” where thousands of Cambodians were buried in mass graves. After lunch visit The Royal Palace with its Silver Pagoda and diamond encrusted Buddha, before continuing on to the National Museum.





Day 3 – Siem Reap
This morning enjoy some free time to explore the city further or use the hotel facilities. Later transfer to the airport for an afternoon flight to Siem Reap where the evening is at leisure.





Day 4 – Siem Reap
Take a Remok tour to visit the magnificent 12th century Angkor Thom with its Elephant Terrace and the stunning Bayon temple. Continue to atmospheric Ta Prohm with its labyrinth of stone hallways overgrown with banyan tree roots. After lunch drive to Angkor Wat, said to be the largest religious building in the world where you can explore the various levels and intricate bas-reliefs, before enjoying the often magical sunset.





Day 5 – Siem Reap to Luang Prabang
After breakfast, visit SATCHA, a new Cambodian handicraft visitor centre that mixes traditional knowledge with contemporary design to showcase Cambodian talents while having a sustainable social, economic, and environmental impact. Continue with a cruise on Tonle Sap lake to observe locals go about their daily lives. This afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang with free time on arrival.





Day 6 – Luang Prabang
Set out on a half day tour to discover this UNESCO heritage town, beginning with a visit to a temple for a personal blessing by a monk. This traditional ceremony involves sprinkling water, jasmines and flowers over you which and is believed to cleanse bad spirits and bring good luck. Then continue to the beautiful Wat Xieng Thong with its low sweeping roofs and impressive “tree of life” mosaic. Continue to the National Museum, formerly the Royal Palace, before climbing the 350 steps up Phou Sii hill for the stunning views over the town and countryside. This evening you may like to visit the night market to browse its fascinating stalls.





Day 7 – Luang Prabang
After breakfast head down to the river to begin a relaxing riverboat trip with your guide on the mighty Mekong to visit the famous and sacred Pak Ou Buddha Caves. En route it is possible to stopover at Ban Thin Hong weaving and fishing village, where you have an opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about rural Lao life and handicrafts. You are welcomed in the village with the special, traditional Laotian Baci ceremony.
Then continue to the Pak Ou caves which are home to many thousands of Buddha images that were placed here by local people since 16th century, since King Setthathirat found the caves and declared them a holy spot. After exploring the caves begin the journey back to Luang Prabang town for lunch.
Next begin the 30 minute road journey out of Luang Prabang town to visit Kuang Sii Waterfalls. Pass through scenic countryside with rice paddies and many villages along the way. You can visit the ‘Bear Rescue Centre‘ where they conserve the black bears before arriving at the falls for a refreshing dip in the falls. These beautiful falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. The water here has a clear blue-green tint due to the high mineral content.





Day 8 – Farewell
The day is at leisure before your onward flight.
