Day 1 - Hong Kong
On arrival in Hong Kong today you will need to find your way to the transfer counter in the arrivals hall to pick up the shuttle transfer that will take you into the city and drop you off at your city centre hotel.
Stay for three nights at the well located Metropark Hotel on Hong Kong Island. The hotel is based in the popular Causeway Bay area which is close to Victoria Park right in the heart of Hong Kong’s entertainment, shopping and commercial district. Just a short walk away you’ll find the nearest MTR station giving easy access to all the city’s attractions so whether you want to spend your days sightseeing or shopping everything is just a short distance away.
Day 4 - Hanoi
Head back to Hong Kong airport today to catch your flight to Vietnam where the first stop will be the colonial city of Hanoi. On arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Maison D’Hanoi or similar a two night stay.
This morning set off to see the city highlights including the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum complex, the former Governors’ residence, One Pillar Pagoda and the Ancient Quarter where all manner of goods are sold.
There is some time to explore the city at your own pace, the mix of French Colonial architecture, bustling streets and tranquil lakes make this a city like no other.
Day 6 - Hoi An
Travel to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang. On arrival, travel to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An where you’ll stay for two nights at the Boutique Hoian or Similar. En route from the airport you’ll visit the Cham Museum before arriving in Hoi An where you have time to explore this fascinating place independently.
On your second day here you’ll tour this charming town taking in the many ancient sights and wandering the narrow streets which are filled with life.
Day 8 - Saigon
The morning is at leisure for last minute shopping or sightseeing before travelling to Danang airport for your flight to Saigon for a two night stay at the Saigon Prince or similar.
Arrive into Saigon and transfer to your hotel for two nights. During your stay you’ll take in the city highlights including the former Presidential Palace, history museum and the famous Cu Chi tunnel network. There’s also a tradition Water Puppet performance which is a popular Vietnamese entertainment and not to be missed.
Day 10 - Farewell
Sit back and relax as you are transferred back to the airport today to catch your flight back to the UK.
