Take a short ferry across the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou Buddha Caves. These caves have been home to many thousands of statues of the Buddha, placed here by local people since the 16th century when King Setthathirat found the caves and declared them a holy spot.
After exploring the caves, enjoy a comfortable hour and a half Mekong river cruise aboard a private boat. Watch stunning views of mountains and small villages pass by as you make your way back to Luang Prabang.
