On your tour, visit a former tin mine, learn how to make your own batik, a technique for making patterned textiles, and discover an antiques collection, before preparing your own afternoon tea in a traditional Malaysian coffee shop.

Alternatively, take a speed boat cruise to one of Langkawi’s most beautiful beaches, where there are a range of wellness activites on offer. Enjoy yoga, a sound bath or a massage, take a dip in the ocean or the nearby swimming pool or sip on a fruit smoothie. Then, take a fascinating boat ride through the channels of the Kilim Geoforest Park, where mangrove forests meet coastal karsts.

To go at your own pace, choose to explore by tri-shaw, with a driver taking you anywhere you’d like to go.

Return to the train for lunch, and enjoy the views as you continue travelling this afternoon.
