Day 1 - Arrive in Singapore
On arrival in Singapore, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a three night stay. The Park Hotel is conveniently located on the Singapore River, just a short walk to the buzzing night spot of Clarke Quay. The ‘Lion City’ as Singapore is known is one of Asia’s great cities, where modern glitzy skyscrapers contrast with the more traditional areas of Little India and Chinatown.
Spend your time exploring this great city independently where you may like to take in the stunning views from the Marina Bay Sands Skydeck, stroll through the impressive Gardens by the Bay with their unique domes and enjoy a Singapore Sling in the elegant surroundings of Raffles Hotel.
Day 4 - Fly to Kuala Lumpur
Its just a short flight today up the Malaysian peninsula to the city of Kuala Lumpur. Transfer to Traders, a modern and superbly positioned hotel overlooking the popular green spaces of KLCC Park. The iconic Petronas Towers are just a short stroll across the park and the views from the observation deck are spectacular. There are also markets to explore, the main shopping thoroughfare of Bukit Bintang and just outside the city, the Batu Caves.
Day 7 - Fly to Phuket
Today head to the Thai island of Phuket for some R&R. Enjoy a four night stay on this tropical island, famous for its palm fringed beaches and warm Andaman sea. Stay at the Amari which has a best-of-both-worlds location close to vibrant Patong but far enough outside for peace and quiet. For some time away from the beach, you may like to book a day trip to the stunning Pha Nga Bay with the famous ‘James Bond Island’ or head to the beautiful islands of Phi Phi.
Day 11 - Fly to Bangkok
Today head for the Thai capital of Bangkok where you will enjoy a three night stay at the Rembrandt Hotel. With its great location you are just a short walk to the bustling Sukhumvit road with its shopping malls and a convenient Sky Train station to get around. You may like to add some tours into your holiday; perhaps a tour of the intricate and beautiful temples, or head out of the city to explore the famous floating market at Damnoen Saduak.
In the evening experience the city’s legendary nightlife which includes everything from local markets where haggling is the norm, to sophisticated sky bars offering magnificent views of the neon lit city-scape.
Day 14 - Fly to Siem Reap
Leave Thailand behind as you head to the Cambodian city of Siem Reap. Your three night stay at the Prince D’angkor provides the perfect base for exploring the famous temples located a short drive outside the city. On many peoples wish list will be the magnificent Angor Wat with its distinctive towers, mysterious Ta Prohm enveloped by tangled Banyan tree roots and Angkor Thom with its stunning Bayon temple – take a look at our Temples Tour which includes all of these. In the evening the city has a bustling night scene with the famous Pub Street containing numerous bars and restaurants, whilst the market offers a place to browse for souvenirs.
Day 17 - Fly to Saigon
The final destination of your Asian experience is Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon. Three nights at the Saigon Prince places you in the heart of the city with many attractions within walking distance. Outside the city there are some fascinating excursion including the Cu Chi tunnels with their wartime history, or visit the Mekong Delta to experience local life – ask your consultant about adding these into your holiday.
Day 20 - Farewell
There may be time for some further exploration of the city, before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
