Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Bangkok

When you arrive at Bangkok airport you will be met by a local guide and transferred to the Ramada D’Ma Hotel for your 3 night stay. This great value hotel is located in the city centre just a short ride from the shops, sights and entertainment.

Day 2 - Bangkok

Spend time discovering the city with its endless shops and sights, you are sure to have a fun packed day. Included in your holiday is a City and Temples tour where you’ll get to see the cultural highlights of Bangkok including the huge reclining Buddha at Wat Po as well as the impressive Marble Temple.

Day 3 - Bangkok

You may like to spend your last day shopping at the glitzy malls along Sukhumvit road, or maybe take to the Chao Phraya river in a longtail boat and visit the Grand Palace. Outside of Bangkok there is the floating market at Damnoen Saduak which can be arranged as a full day from the city. In the evening why not sample some of the sophisticated nightlife that has developed in Bangkok with a cocktail in one of the impressive sky bars.

Day 4 - Chiang Mai

Fly north to the city of Chiang Mai where you will be met by a local guide and transferred to the Furama Hotel for a three night stay. You are close to the trendy Nimmanhaemin Road with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars, or the Old Quarter is just a short taxi ride away.

Day 5 - Chiang Mai

There is so much to see and do in this part of the country and you will find that it has its own traditions, customs and cuisine. Be sure to make a trip to the Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet. The scenery is quite breathtaking and you’ll see hill tribes people and browse in the local markets.

Take an optional tour to an Elephant Sanctuary and see how these fascinating creatures are being rescued and given a safe space to live. In the evening be sure to visit Chiang Mai’s famous night market, just the place to pick up a holiday souvenir.

Day 7 - Farewell

Travel to the airport for your flight back to the UK or extend your stay at one of Thailand beach resorts for a few days relaxing in the sunshine. Both Phuket and Koh Samui can be reached by direct flight so no need to change planes in Bangkok.
