Kayakers, head off on this eco-adventure to Ao Thalane, a hidden, untouched small fishing village located in the heart of Krabi’s diverse mangrove eco-system. By paddling a kayak through the intricate waterways, it is possible to penetrate the diverse swamps and limestone karsts, which are enhanced by a lagoon and a canyon.

The wildlife is plentiful and includes birds, reptiles and larger mammals. Frequently sighted birds in the mangroves include Brown Winged Kingfishers, Pacific Reef Egrets, Asian Dowitchers and White Bellied Sea Eagles. The most commonly sighted mammals are otters, macaques and gibbons. Reptiles are also frequent like the two banded monitor lizards. This tour is recommended for wildlife lovers as the kayaks offer a unique way to spot and find wildlife, while disturbing the environment the least.

The route will vary depending on the tide levels. Lunch is served at a local restaurant followed by a last stop at Klong Sa Kaew, a crystal-clear freshwater river flowing through the jungle.
