Transfer from your Bangkok hotel to Kanchanaburi stopping off at Phra Pathom Chedi along the way. Afterwards, visit the Khao Noi Cave Temple and Tiger Cave Temple before making a stop at the thought-provoking JEATH War Museum. Board the RV River Kwai at around noon with lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit Wat Tham Khaopoon and then return to the ship and cruise upriver to Wang Pla Moo Bridge.

Day 2 – Sai Yok
After breakfast cruise upriver to visit Prasat Muang Singh, a historic park with Khmer architecture from days gone by. Continue by road to Tha Kilen Train Station where you will board the train for the famous journey over the long wooden viaduct over the River Kwai. Continue by coach to Sai Yok Elephant Village, before returning to the boat for lunch and the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 – Ban Haad Ngiu
After breakfast walk to Kaeng Lava Cave. On your return to the ship cruise upriver to Ban Haad Ngiu and continue by coach to Hell Fire Pass, a part of the Death Railway cut right through the rock of the mountain. Return to the boat for lunch, cruising past Sai Yok Yai Waterfall. You can have an afternoon at leisure, or visit a local school for refugees. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 4 – Kanchanaburi
Make an early visit to a temple where you can make offerings to the monks. After breakfast, disembark and return to Kanchanaburi by coach visiting the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre Museum, Donrak War Cemetery and the world-famous bridge over the River Kwai. You arrive back into Bangkok in the early evening.
